Note the extensive hemorrhages throughout the fundus. Ocular manifestations of SBS include: retinal hemorrhages which are too numerous to count present in multiple retinal layers which typically extend to the periphery, dome shaped hemorrhages are common, macular retinoschisis, traumatic macular folds, absence of direct ocular trauma (no periorbital bruising, lid swelling, usually normal anterior segments)
